Market valuation

Know what a unit is worth before you price it.

Spectra values stock against comparable listings from across the market, shows how sure it is, and lets you test a new price. Nothing changes until you change it.

From listing to price. Worked out from real listings, then left for you to decide.

  1. Step 1: Listings come in

From AutoTrader, eBay, Gumtree, CaravanFinder, CaravansForSale, TheCaravanPlace and caravans.com.

  2. Step 2: Duplicates go

The same vehicle listed twice counts once, and sold prices are inferred.

  3. Step 3: A valuation is built

A market price with comparables, price bands, adjustments and a confidence score.

  4. Step 4: You set the price

Test a new price against the market. Spectra never changes a price on its own.

What it does

A price you can see the workings of.

Every valuation shows the comparables it used, the price bands, the adjustments and a confidence score. It is market intelligence, worked out from real listings.

  • Comparables and price bands
  • Adjustments and a confidence score
  • Regional multipliers
  • Valuation history and accuracy

Where the price is heading.

A 12-month outlook is drawn from depreciation curves, and a what-if simulator shows what a new price would do. Watch competitors’ listings alongside your own.

Ageing stock, flagged before it costs you.

Stock is flagged at 60, 90 and 120 days by default, 30 days later for motorhomes. Check it against the market, test a price, then decide.

  • 60, 90 and 120 days by default

Value the part-exchange on the spot.

A quick valuation prices the part-exchange against the market. The agreed allowance goes onto the quote as a deduction.

Questions and answers

Where does the valuation data come from?

Real listings from AutoTrader, eBay, Gumtree, CaravanFinder, CaravansForSale, TheCaravanPlace and caravans.com. Listings are de-duplicated and sold prices are inferred.

Is the valuation AI?

No. It is market intelligence: comparables, price bands, adjustments and a confidence score from real listings. It is not a chat model guessing a price.

Will Spectra change my prices on its own?

No. Spectra flags ageing stock and lets you test a new price against the market. Only a person changes a price.

Can it value a part-exchange?

Yes. A quick valuation prices the part-exchange, and the agreed allowance goes onto the quote as a deduction.

Which plan includes valuation?

Valuation is in every plan, from Starter.
