The Spectra platform

Spectra keeps one record for each customer and vehicle.

Stock, sales, workshop, parts and the books share one core. A quote knows the vehicle, and the workshop knows the customer. Spectra AI works across it, within your role's permissions.

The Spectra overview dashboard with sales, enquiries, workshop and parts figures, the sales pipeline and recent deals won.

Twelve modules share one core. Details are entered once, and nobody asks the customer twice.

  • One customer

Contacts, consent, mail, chat and matched call records belong to the person, so every module sees them.

  • One vehicle

Stock, quote, order, job, health check and warranty all point at the same vehicle.

  • One set of controls

Eight fixed roles with 51 permissions and tenant isolation that fails closed sit under every module. Key records such as vehicles, deals and jobs keep an append-only change history.

  • One place for AI to work

The assistant reaches across CRM, sales, stock, workshop, finance and more, through only the tools your role allows.

Each module picks up the last. Four journeys, each module starting with what the last one recorded.

A part-exchange becomes a line on the quote.

Your team values the trade-in in Stock from market comparables. It arrives on the quote as a deduction. When the customer accepts online, the accepted figure is written back.

  2. Deduct on the quote
  3. Accept online

A health check becomes work on the job.

From Professional, a technician records red and amber findings with photos and damp readings. The customer approves items online and signs. Approved items join the linked job as labour operations.

  1. Inspect and capture
  2. Customer approves online

CRM and marketingAutomationsCommunications

An enquiry becomes a consented follow-up.

Leads land in CRM as contacts, with any consent they carry. From Professional, an automation follows up by email, SMS or WhatsApp, checking consent before each send by default.

  1. Lead arrives
  2. Consent recorded
  3. Automation follows up
A contact record with open deals, activity and the marketing consent held for that person.

Spectra AI answers from your own records.

The assistant looks things up in stock, customers, the diary and the books, and does the job when you ask, using only the tools your role allows.

See Spectra AI
  • In Sell: mail drafting grounded in the thread, adverts written from verified specs.
  • In Service: a summary of known issues for the technician briefing, from Professional.
  • In Run: invoices and remittances read for review, workflows built from a sentence and saved as drafts, from Professional.
  • Each AI feature says where a person comes in: the assistant acts only when you ask, drafts wait for you to send, imports wait for your approval, and suggestions stay suggestions until your team acts on them.

Questions and answers

Do I have to take every module?

The Starter plan includes the core modules: CRM, vehicles, finance and invoicing, email, sales and deals, reporting, the lead pipeline, workshop and parts. Professional adds vehicle lifecycle, vehicle health checks, the workshop diary, parts surcharges, finance proposals, SMS and WhatsApp, 3CX telephony, warranty claims, customer and supplier portals, the storefront, Data Hub, automations and agent access. Pricing is on the pricing page.

Is Spectra only for caravans and motorhomes?

It is built leisure-first, so berths, MTPLM, habitation jobs and margin VAT are part of the core product, with damp readings in the vehicle health check from Professional. It is also ready for cars and vans, with DVLA and DVSA lookups, AutoTrader and eBay lead intake, margin VAT on used stock and a workshop with MOT reminders.

Is Spectra AI an extra cost?

No. Spectra AI is included in every plan. The automation builder, Document Import, AI Suggestions and agent access over MCP are part of Professional.

Can we move over from our current DMS?

Yes. We move your stock, customers and opening balances and train your team, included in every plan. On Professional, Data Hub also imports contacts, stock and invoices from CSV, JSON or Excel in create or enrich mode, and Document Import can read purchase invoices. The switching page walks through it.

Does it connect to our accounts package?

Spectra syncs with Xero, Sage and QuickBooks once you connect your account, with a sync queue and reconciliation reports. It also supports HMRC Making Tax Digital submission for VAT once you connect your HMRC account.

Can we run more than one site on it?

Yes. Sites and depots, per-user site assignment, cross-branch stock search, transfers between sites, per-site KPIs and a branch P&L are part of the platform, and groups can consolidate with inter-company eliminations.
