For motorhome and campervan dealers
Price high-value stock against the market.
A motorhome that sits too long costs more every week. Spectra flags ageing stock, values it against the market, values the part-exchange and gates the handover.

Where the day goes. And what Spectra does about each part of it.
Motorhomes over 90 days are tying up money and nobody has time to check the market.
Spectra flags ageing stock at 60, 90 and 120 days by default, 30 days later for motorhomes, and lets you test a new price against market comparables. You set the price.
Part-exchange deals need a valuation you can defend to the customer and to yourself.
Part-exchange quick valuation returns a market price with comparables, price bands and a confidence score, and photos can add a condition grade. The agreed part-exchange figure goes onto the quote as a deduction.
Road tax and the first-registration fee are worked out on the side and forgotten on the quote.
VED and the DVLA first-registration fee sit on the quote as no-VAT disbursements, and an advisory VED band suggester helps with motorhomes and campervans.
The handover demonstration eats an afternoon, and something still gets missed.
The handover gate always checks the signed PDI, habitation on used vehicles and the balance due, and you can switch on checks for vulnerable-customer support needs, registration, towing and the demonstration checklist. Overdue handovers are listed, and a manager override needs a reason.
Adverts for a 6-berth coachbuilt take too long to write, and the spec sheet says one thing while the ad says another.
Content Studio writes the description, SEO metadata, social posts and price rationale from verified catalogue specs, manufacturer specifications, your photos and market comparables. You edit and save.
Margin VAT on used stock is easy to get wrong.
Margin-scheme VAT, a statutory stock book and VAT returns are in the ledger, and the Stock ID doubles as the stock-book reference.
A day in Spectra. One working day, and the module behind each part of it.
08:30
Ask before the coffee.
The principal asks the assistant which motorhomes are over 90 days in stock. It answers from live stock with market valuations. Prices do not change until someone changes them.

A quote with the part-exchange on.
A salesperson builds a versioned quote with the PX deduction, road tax and the first-registration fee. The customer accepts online.
Sales and deals12:00
Photos become a grade.
The trade-in arrives. Photos give a condition grade, and the quick valuation returns a market price with a confidence score.

The advert writes from the spec.
Content Studio drafts the description and social posts for the new arrival from its verified specs. Someone edits and saves.

The keys wait for the checks.
Handover is booked. The PDI, the balance due and the registration and demonstration checks this dealer has switched on are all green before the customer drives away.

How switching worksQuestions and answers
Does Spectra know the difference between a motorhome and a campervan?
Yes. Motorhomes and campervans can be set up as separate catalogue types, each with layouts, berths, bed type, washroom, kitchen and door side, and the VED band suggester covers both.
Where does the valuation data come from?
Market intelligence built from real listings, de-duplicated, with sold prices inferred. It returns comparables, price bands and a confidence score. It comes from real listings, so you can see where the figure comes from.
Can Spectra change my prices on its own?
No. Spectra flags ageing stock and can test a new price against the market, but only a person changes a price.
Does it look up the registration?
Yes. DVLA vehicle enquiry and DVSA MOT history lookups fill in the vehicle, and results are cached for 30 days.
Does the handover gate mean NCC compliance?
The gate supports NCC Code of Practice requirements: the signed PDI and habitation check, plus the registration, towing and demonstration checks you switch on, with warranty documents on the handover checklist. It does not imply approval or endorsement by the National Caravan Council.
Which plan do I need?
Stock, sales, finance and workshop are in Starter. The workshop diary, vehicle health checks, the customer portal, the storefront and SMS and WhatsApp are in Professional. See pricing for the detail.
